What we do with your photos

Software looks at your photos to pick the best ones and organize your book. Your photos are never sold, never used to train AI, and no human at 4everBook ever looks at them.

Photos you add to a book are visible to the family members who have that book's link, and to you. Location information is removed from every photo shown outside your private library.

What we collect

We collect the email address of the book's organizer, the names and optional birthdays of the family members on the roster, and the photos added to the book. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell personal information.

If you contribute photos through a family link without an account, we collect the photos you add and the name shown for you on that book's roster. The organizer of that book controls the roster and can remove you and your future access at any time.

Companies that help us run the service

We use a small number of trusted providers to run 4everBook, and share only what each one needs:

• Storage & database — Supabase hosts your account, roster, and photos.
• Printing & shipping — Lulu prints and ships your books. To do that, the pages of your book — which include your photos and family name — are sent to Lulu to manufacture and mail your order.
• Payments — Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your full card number.
• Email — Resend delivers the emails we send you (sign-in links, order updates).
• Photo organization — Google's AI service helps select and arrange photos, under terms that prohibit using your content to train their models.

These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

Children in the book

4everBook is made for families, and family books often include photos of children. 4everBook is intended to be used by adults (the book organizer and the family members they invite). An adult who adds a child's photo or name is responsible for having the right to do so on that child's behalf. We do not knowingly let children under 13 create their own account, and we do not use children's information for advertising or profiling. A parent or guardian can have a child's photos or roster entry removed at any time by contacting privacy@4everbook.app or removing them from the book.

How long we keep things

Photos are kept for 24 months after they are added, with a warning before anything is removed. When you delete your account or your book, we keep it recoverable for 30 days in case you change your mind, then remove it permanently from our systems. We may keep the minimum records we are legally required to keep for tax and order history.

Your choices and rights

You can save a full copy of your photos at any time from your book's details, remove individual photos, delete the whole book, or delete your entire account and its personal data from within the app (Settings → Delete account) or by writing to privacy@4everbook.app. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, or export your information, and to object to certain uses. We will honor these requests as the law requires and will not charge you for exercising them.

Changes and contact
