Terms of service

The service

4everBook ("we") provides a family photo collection and printed book service at 4everbook.app and in the 4everBook app. By creating a book, creating an account, or adding photos through a family link, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Your photos

You retain all rights to your photos. You grant us the limited license needed to store them, arrange them into books, and print and ship those books to you. You confirm you have the right to add the photos you share, and that everyone in them is okay with it.

Family links

Anyone with a book's family link can add photos to that book. The organizer can rotate the link at any time, which retires the old one immediately, and can block a contributor, which stops their future additions. Keep the link within the family.

Community rules

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You may not add content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, violent, or that depicts a person without their consent, and you may not use the service to harass or abuse anyone.

If you see content or behavior that breaks these rules, report it: open the family roster in the app, hold the person's name, and choose "Report," or email report@4everbook.app. We review every report and remove violating content and eject the responsible contributor within 24 hours. Book organizers can also block or remove any contributor from their own book at any time.

Payments and books

Prices include shipping. Paid features renew until paused, and you can pause at any time from your book's details. Printed books are made to order; refunds and reprints follow the refunds policy. Purchases of physical books and subscriptions are made through our website, not through the app store.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and its personal data at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app. Deleting the organizer's account deletes that book and the photos in it. See the privacy policy for how deletion and recovery windows work.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is." We work hard to keep your photos safe and your books beautiful, but to the fullest extent permitted by law we make no warranties beyond those stated here, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and disputes

We may update these terms; when we make a material change we will update the date above. If a dispute arises, contact us first at hello@4everbook.app — most issues are resolved quickly and directly. These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which 4everBook operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
